For more than 25 years, James Randi, the bright, gadfly
magician, philosopher and bubble burster, has offered a
$10,000 reward to anyone who can produce any psychic,
paranormal or supernatural demonstration that he can't
explain or expose. With the help of some fellow-disbelievers
he has recently upped his ante to $440,000, with no takers
so far.
He closes with this typically Roonian comment:
I hope all the psychics foresee getting fired and I hope they
prove me wrong by being right.
