Perfectly Painless Ways of Giving to Your Favorite Causes
(Without Spending Your Own Money)

During this holiday season, you may be searching the Web for gifts, restaurants, activities, travel arrangements...

goodsearch logoGo to www.goodsearch.com and type the name of the non-profit you want to benefit in the window labeled "Who Do You Goodsearch For".  (If you type in "Association For Research and Enlightenment..." both A.R.E. of NY and the National A.R.E will pop up, as both are registered -- then you choose one.)
As long as that organization is in that window, a penny will go to your charity for every search you do.

It doesn't sound like much, but it adds up. Director Miceli says "My searches have so far generated about $27 for A.R.E. of NY. If each of our 400-plus  A.R.E. of NY members generated about that much -- it would come to about $10,800!"

igive.com logo At www.igive.com, you can register any organization you want to receive donations.    A.R.E. of NY is already registered there. At igive, you need to select the organization you shop for and you have to download a "shopping window" (not rocket science to do). Then you go through igive to shop online with any of the stores that are listed with them, and your chosen organization automatically receives a donation from the store.

Purchase flight tickets online on the igive site, and a percentage will go to A.R.E. of NY.  -- Orbitz, Travelocity & Expedia.com are all participating at igive.com.  Or buy gifts, clothing, electronics, etc.

If we all do this, it can make a real difference for A.R.E. of NY or the good cause of your choice.

The Center is sustained by Donations and by Fees charged for educational offerings. Donations are gratefully accepted at all Free events.
God bless you for your assistance--thank you for helping us to serve you!
