Amazing what some chain saws and convict labor can get done. Compare this shot of the big retaining wall with one that I shot last year. They have cleared lots of trees and brush. It's really starting to open up and look lived-in again. That's "Rachel" trying to make a run-by while having trouble with her brakes locking up. I can't say enough good things about the Doe River Gorge Ministries' hard work and how it is paying off for us ET rail fans.
