Here's the right-of-way hiking group taking a breather at the Avery County Museum in Newland next to the courthouse. They kindly opened it to the group on this Sunday morning, and it was well worth the trip. They have a great collection of ET&WNC photos and memorabilia. Lots of history inside these walls. I highly recommend a visit next time you're in the area.
