This is what the Doe River looks like down underneath the deck bridge in the Gorge. It's very scenic, very shallow, and you can almost walk across on the rocks. We're looking up-river. Directly behind us is the deck bridge. The river curves in a horseshoe to the left and doubles back on itself. The railroad ran thru a short tunnel to our left, then crossed another steel bridge, but this one being a thru-truss. This is the bridge/tunnel/bridge section of the Gorge.
