Bemberg Station (Port Rayon) before its hideous orange paint job. This is looking toward Johnson City. North American Rayon (NARC) and the Bemberg rayon plant are across the highway to the right. The Bemberg water tank was once a short distance behind where I'm standing, and the short-lived wye was in the field to the left just beyond the station. The station was always stucco, but both ends of the building originally had open porches under the roof which were later closed in.
