Wow. A real, live, ET&WNC boxcar. And it's still there, although not in pristine condition by any stretch of the imagination. It's owned by the Heaton's of Roan Mountain. It was bought from the railroad years ago, obviously, and used on their farm land for years to store feed, fertilizer, etc. It's now a storage shed on property owned by them and right next to the road.
