• Use "I" language (describe your own experience) - no shaming, blaming and naming
  
  
• Be specific - not vague or general
  
  
• Be constructive - give specific, goal-oriented suggestions for change
  
  

Note: positive feedback using above guidelines is equally as important as negative

Note: ongoing, informal feedback is most effective for sustained development
