  Our trip to Clarksville begins at the Shell Station on the corner of route 60 (Midlothian Turnpike) and 675 (Page Road). This location is right at the Chesterfield and Powhatan County line. Meet up at 800 am for departure at 830 am. The drive will take approximately 3.5 hours passing through Burkville and Victoria with two rest stops along the way. The destinaiton will be lunch at 1200 pm at The Lamplighter Restaraunt and Lounge.

CVMC September Event

Morning Driving Tour and Glen Allen Day

We will gather at 8:30 AM with a 9:00 AM departure time. Meet at the Market Cafe Convenience Store and Gas Station at the corner of Nuchols Road and Cox Road on the back side of Innsbrook in Glen Allen ( 10950 Nuchols Road, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060, 804-934-0144). We'll tour the countryside through the morning with a couple of stops. Before Noon, we'll arrive at beautiful Crump Park in Glen Allen for the annual Glen Allen Day Fall Festival (www.glenallenday.com). This is a huge annual event with lots to see and do including numerous food vendors for our lunch. Barbeque, hamburgers, hot dogs, and the like will be available. Tour the historic Meadow Farm Museum house, look at the outdoor train museum, view the finest little league baseball stadium in the world, check out the many arts and crafts vendors and cultural exhibits, listen to live music, or sit by one of the lakes. Bring your walking shoes and camera.
