Holder b. 1832 KY and Henrietta White > Peter O. Holder b. 1877 Bollinger Co. MO. This sample differs from the other group A samples at DYS 447. Sample #034 USA: Newman Jackson Holder (1818-1896), born NC, died Texas, married Martha Ann Moss in Cherokee Co. NC 1847; in Hood Co. TX 1870s-1880s, moved to Donley Co. TX late 1880s. Like sample 013, this one has a connection to Cherokee Co. NC, and it seems likely that William P. Holder and Newman Jackson Holder are brothers, probably sons of William Holder and Elizabeth Jackson.
This family appears to belong to Haplogroup R1b.
