"The Jews of Africa" can be anything from a straightforward speech to a multifaceted, multimedia presentation 

For families

-- Invite families to an evening of African-Jewish food, music and images

-- Have a fundraising dinner with recipes from Africa followed by a "Jews of Africa" discussion

-- Have a "Jews of Africa" photo exhibit in your lobby or art gallery

-- Use the presentation as the anchor for a panel discussion about the relationship between race, culture, religion and politics

For university students and teens

-- Have a discussion about the relationship between race, culture, religion and politics and why being able to define yourself, as "Jewish," as "African," as "African-American," is so important

-- Have a fun dinner with recipes from Africa followed by a "Jews of Africa" presentation

For middle and elementary school students

-- Learn African-Jewish songs in Hebrew, Luganda and Sefwi 

-- Learn Ugandan and Ghanaian childrens' games
