Solomon Guwazah, member of the Rusape, Zimbabwe, Jewish community, and father of Kudzi Guwazah. Solomon is a clerk in the Zimbabwean public railroad system. He lived for several years in Great Britain during Zimbabwe's war for independence and became part of the Rastafarian community there. When Solomon returned he joined the Jewish community, reconnecting with the traditions of his Shona ancestors, which are strikingly silimiar to, if not the same as, ancient Jewish customs. |
