Gordon Woods

Roots, Gordon Loop, Wenham, MA

The Gordon Woods is a section of land behind Gordon College in Wenham. The trails are for the most part fairly easy, but don't let that fool you. The trails here connect up with some very technical trails along Route 128. The riding here is absolutely awesome. It's great for anyone from beginner to freeride lunatic.

There are a whole bunch of great trails that begin on the South side of Route 128.  Go out of the Gordon parking lot and head to the 128 overpass.  Just on the other side, behind the guardrail is the trail head.  The trails here will eventually lead to Pine Street in Manchester.  Be prepared for a long ride if you go without a guide though.  Things are not obvious.  There are all sorts of fun sections on this trail.  Here are a few pictures (along with the picture at the top of the page.)

Tough Climb, Gordon Loop, Wenham, MA  Rock and Roots, Gordon Loop, Wenham, MA

This trail will end at the road near the Pine Street exit off Route 128. There are a whole lot more trails across the street. Go under the overpass then look behind the guardrail next to the exit.
