I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I am married to Cynthia "Cindy" Eileen Cook and we have three children:

We were married in 1984. We live in Fairburn, Georgia near where Thomas (7) moved to from NC in 1826. Fairburn is about 15 minutes south of Atlanta. My hobbies are genealogy (of course), computers, photography and woodworking where I like to build reproductions of antique furniture.

I am a Captain withDeKalb County, Georgia, Fire and Rescue Services,

Cindy is a full-time Mom. (Her job is substantially more hazardous than mine !)
