PROOF OF WILL


THE STATE OF TEXAS                     In the County Court of Travis County, Texas, Sitting in
  COUNTY OF TRAVIS                     Probate       April              Term, A. D.   1908

Proof of Last Will and Testament of         W.   W.   Medearis                                       Deceased.
 

        On this, the   11th    day of    April             , A. D. 1908, personally appeared
in open Court    A.  O. Saudles                                            who being duly sworn,
deposes and says, that on the   12th     day of    August,             A. D. 1907, he was
present and saw    W. W.  Medearis                sign the instrument filed in this Court
on the  8th    day of    August,            A. D.  1907,  and purporting to be the
last will of him, the said     W. W. Medearis                           and heard him publish
and declare the same to be his last will and testament; that at the time of signing and publishing
the same, the said        W. W. Medearis             was over twenty-one years of age
and of sound mind; that this affiant and  John E. Shelton and Ida Woods   whose signatures
appear on said instrument, on said   12th  day of   August,       A. D. 1907    , then
being credible witnesses above the age of fourteen years, subscribed their names as witnesses to the
same in the presence and at the request of said testator, and in the presence of each other.  That
afterwards, on the          21st        day of                 January,                       A. D. 1908, said
                      W. W. Medearis                      , died in the County of Travis, in which
he had hs domicile at and before his death and without having revoked said will so far as known
to affiant.

To the Honorable     John W. Hornsby    

                Judge of the County Court of     Travis     County, State of Texas:

    This, the application of     T.   W.  Medearis                                                       Respectfully shows:
That                    W. W. Medearis                                        is dead; That he died on or about the
              31         day of           Jan                    1908. at     the residence of  T. W. Medaris
in the State of          Texas                          ; that said deceased at the time of h is   death was a resident of the
County of        Travis                  in the State of Texas                                                  
 
 

That he left estate                                                                           Consisting of        following

That said deceased left a written Will, bearing date the    12th    day of   August    A.D.  1907
in the possession of  T W Medearis                                                                                 which your
applicant  believes and therefore alleges to be the Last Will and Testament of said deceased, and which is herewith
filed;  That            T W Medearis                      
the person  named in said Will as Executor   therefore, resides at       Bluff   Springs
   in          Travis            County              Texas                                                                                                     
That said                                 T W Medearis                                   is                                                   not disqualified
by law from accepting Letters                             of             administration                                         upon said estate
                Wherefore, Applicant   prays that Citation issue herein, as the law provides, and that upon a hearing and
the proofs adduced said Will be admitted to Probate, and that Letters     of  Administration
issue to applicant   and that all other necessary and proper orders be made in the premises.
