Many Hendershot kin have tried to obtain a copy of the 1988 edition of Hendershot Ancestors by William E. Hendershott. The late author would be thrilled to know his book is so desired, as he was disappointed with the early response when be completed it. Since his death in July 1988, his son, Myrl, tried to keep up with the requests amidst his busy life demands. A year ago, Linn Hendershot contacted Myrl and received permission to reproduce the book and provide it to family researchers, with the proviso that a portion of the purchase price go to family research efforts. Linn has added the "Daughters Index" ($6.00) and put it in a handsome three-ring binder. The price with postage and handling is $53.
