In the East the veil is parting.
The spirit of the eagle flies through the veil.
Insightful far-seeing golden dawn eagle.

Spirit of the East drift into our Circle.
Bring our brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers.
Spirits of dawn slipping, whispering into our midst
Share your visions.

Join us today as the veil stirs in the breeze 
as the sun glints on the eagle's breast
as the smoke disappears rising.

Spirits of the East gently glide into our Circle.


SOUTH
In the south the veil of fire is parting.
The spirit of the serpent bursts through the veil.

Serpent of the cosmic egg
Serpent of the rainbow
Spirits of the South erupting from the fires of creation
Serpent exploding from cosmic egg.

Give us energy!
Give us passion!

Flaming leaves flying from the bonfire -- 
Sparks of inspiration!

Our hearts rise
Our spirits rise
To welcome you!

Spirits of the South bring trust and passion into our Circle!


WEST
Rain to stream
stream to river
river to ocean
ocean to mist
mist rising to clouds

Through the misty veil we see waves crashing.
In the spray the spirits are rising.

Touch our hearts, touch our tongues
Quench our thirst for blessed understanding.
Spirits of the West share with us your cup of tender caring.

NORTH
In the North a veil of snow parts
to reveal the unflinching mountain peak.
Under the shoulder of the mountain
the spirits of Earth are waking.
In the silence, in the stillness of the snow
Spirits of the North, bring forth seeds from your dark earth womb.

Center our feet upon your granite steadfastness.
Give us strength to follow our own path.

Spirits of Mother Earth

CENTER
(This last part is spoken by all four people, as well as individuals)
We are between the worlds    (all people speak first two lines)
We are at the center
the place of love            (first person speaks this line)
the place of transformation  (second person speaks this line)
where all directions meet    (third person speaks this line)
and spirits safely gather.   (fourth person speaks this line)

Our Circle is filling.       (all people speak this line)

There is room in our Circle 
for all the spirits we cherish in our hearts....
