Links This section of my website contains links to websites that I think are pretty cool. Omniglot - A fascinating guide to writing systems and the written language. The World Flag Database - What does the flag of Ghana look like? A very well-done and infomative site featuring flags of nations, States, territories, etc. The best page in the universe - Okay, maybe not. But Maddox is funny, even if he is an asshole. Sexy Losers - A raunchy, politically-incorrect adult comic strip. Disgustingly hilarious! Litterbox - Kitty heavy metal. Your cat may be offended by the explicit lyrics, so be warned. (In fact, there are now several litterbox videos on the eyeenvision.com home page!) Gadsby - Could you write an entire novel without using the letter "E," which is the most common letter in the English language? One guy did. homestarrunner.com - I'll never figure out why this website exists, but it sure is entertaining. The Brick Testament - All your favorite Bible stories brought to life using LEGO bricks. I loved building LEGO worlds when I was a kid. Warmdesk - Bill Selman was a high school classmate of mine. Now he's a composer and producer of electronic music. His recent release, Guero Variations, is actually quite good. Esperanto - The international language lives! I was really geeked up about Esperanto when I was younger, because I really thought the world needed a common language that everybody would speak in addition to their native tongue. Since then, I've realized that English is quickly becoming the true international language. But I still think Esperanto's kinda cool. Snopes.com - Urban legends are a fact of life, especially in today's high-tech society where stories and rumors can be e-mailed to thousands of people in a matter of seconds. I've found this urban legend-debunking site to be invaluable. Operation Clambake - All about a dangerous cult that masquerades as a legitimate religion. The photograph is of exit 23 on Interstate 10 just west of Lake Charles, Louisiana. |
