The American Alpine A310 Member Introduction Page

This picture shows a slightly modified 1980 Alpine A310 V6 of the first series with a 'narrow body'.

The Alpine A310 4 cylinder was the successor model of the Alpine A110.  The A110 was quite well known as a winning 'Alpine-Blue Rally Flounder'; the A310 never got the true chance to show its rally-image as Renault replaced the A310 after the purchase of the Alpine factory with its own Rally car, the Renault 5 Turbo. However, the A310 had other qualities which one can appreciate by using it daily; it was quiet and comfortable, even though it was a 'low height' sports car. Retrospective, it may be considered as the most comfortable 'Every-Day' sports car of the 70's and 80's.

The first A310 four cylinder cars were put on the road in 1971. In 1976 the A310 V6 with the 2.7 litre PRV (a Peugeot, Renault, Volvo cooperation) engine was introduced. An other significant update happened in 1983, which included the wide-body GT version, also known as the "Group 4" (GT-4) body. In Japan it was called the "F-Pack", in Germany it was the "S".

1984 was the last production year for the A310, and a very short run of 1984 and 1985-models was made that year.

The Alpine GT-V6
and GTA Turbo, was launched from 1985/1986 on as the A310 successor.

The US AAA-310 Club

These pages are related to the American Alpine A310 Club (AAA-310 Club).
We have currently about 22 club members, and there are roughly 30 Alpine A310's in the US, at least to our knowledge.
We have one A310 club member who lives in Canada.
We have only one A310 with a four cylinder engine enrolled in our club and we think there is no other four cylinder A310 in the US. However, there are all variants of 'narrow body' and 'wide body' A310 V6's, and GT's represented in the club.If we missed you as an A310 owner in the US, Canada, or Mexico then PLEASE contact us!   Click here to e-Mail us
