TIPS
If you like to purchase an Alpine A310 in the United States, you must understand that there is a very 'limited supply' on cars. We will do our best to assist you; we know from time to time which car is, or might become available. Often those cars are not advertised.
We kindly ask you not just to 'try' an inquiry; we would appreciate if you study all of our pages, and the following information on this page. This will give you a good idea what you 'may be' looking for.
Please be aware that even cars that will require restoration are not 'cheap'. The Alpine A310, and all Alpines in general, are a very exclusive models, and especially in the United States. However, all parts are available, and the Alpine AAA310 Club has sources and information for club members where, and how to get them.
The engine block is shared by certain Volvos and Peugeots which were imported to the US, and a similar transmission was used in the DeLorean, many parts are interchangeable, and often directly available 'off the shelf'.
A guideline for Alpine A310 prices in the USA:
Rough condition |
$ 4,000 - 8,000 (damaged, parts missing; 'project car') |
Moderate condition |
$ 8,000 - 12,000 (will need work and parts replacement) |
Good condition |
$ 12,000 - 16,000 (looks good, but will still need improvements) |
Very good condition |
$ 16,000 - 22,000 (looks very nice, usually little improvements required) |
Nice to excellent |
Expect owners asking from 22's to $30,000+++ aesthetically very nice, or, excellent originality. |
If you consider purchasing an Alpine in the US, make yourself a 'budget' based on the guidelines above. Alpines are fun to drive, quite easy to maintain, but like EVERY older car, you will have to replace or repair a few things here or there.
