FUCKING HAMMERS. I had the bright idea to build a "sand table" with

the pupae the other day and while we were banging away at various

nails I had this recurrent problem. Every time Spunky spoke I looked

at her and hit my thumb. Now she has taken that as an INSTRUCTION and

chants, "Ow! Ow! Ow!" while she's hitting the nails like some kind of

whiny war cry.
