Reception Video Available
Thanks to all the wonderful fans who brought their video cameras to the Love Letters reception, and Janey Graves who assembled them all into one nearly two hour tape, all of us are now able to watch two hours of the top of Scott's head, from nearly every angle imaginable!
Just kidding--there are lots of wonderful views of his face, talking with nearly everyone, along with the opportunity to see the rest of us you have met online (if you can tell which of us is which :-) )
Not all of the video quality is good, but a great deal of it is extremely good, considering the lighting conditions and the crowds getting in the way.
All in all a wonderful memento for those who were there, and plenty of vicarious happiness for those who couldn't come. **Highly recommended (by me).
For a copy of the tape,
if you live in the US, please send $6 to:
Janey Graves
PO Box 134
Osawatomie, KS 66064 please include a note that you want the Love Letters video
if you live outside the US, please e-mail Janey for costs.
Janey does a great deal of dubbing of Scott video for fellow fans, all for the cost of tape and shipping, purely out of the goodness of her heart, so she also has a list of other Scott video that she can send you, if you ask. A really BIG thanks to Janey from Pam :-)

A thank you note from Scott and Chelsea
Margaret received this fax today from Jay's office:
July 1999
Dear All,
On behalf of the Arthur McCready Charitable Trust, we would like to express our deepest and sincere gratefulness for helping us support such a viable cause.
When Mrs. Gibson asked us if we would consider a performance of Love Letters, the thought of being on stage together and supporting the Trust sparked our interest. We didn't know when we accepted that Chelsea would be pregnant at showtime. Thank you all for looking beyond the obvious to make the characters work.
We sure appreciate all the excitement and in some cases the sheer determination to make it to the event. For those of you that traveled: we hope your journey was safe and enjoyable. For those that couldn't make it, your donations and best wishes were received with gratitude.
It was great to see familiar faces, and to meet some new friends. The many letters and gifts were so thoughtful.
As we write we are reflecting on the beautiful Alex Theatre, the warm reception and the delicious food!!!
Our hats are off to everyone who played a part in the success of the event. May you all experience good health and prosperity.
Sincerely
Scott and Chelsea
Love Letters Attendance
Here is some information on the attendance for the play and reception
450 attended the play, 350 stayed for the
reception, and they have raised approximately $14,000 so far.
Their previous fund raisers have been luncheons at a country club and they have had 250 in attendance, as that was all the room would hold.
Great Job All! (and it didn't hurt a bit, did it? : ) )
Pix and Programs for sale
Bonny also wanted me to remind you all that there are left over autographed pictures of Scott and Chelsea and programs available by mail.

Dinner Report
We had 26 for dinner at Clancy's on Saturday night. The bill balanced (thank God and Kristy!) and we got out to get to the theater by 7:40 (whew!)
Due to what was described to me as a power outage at Jax (our original restaurant of choice, which lost our reservation) both parties taking place over there had to be rerouted to Clancy's as well. It was nice to meet Bonny for a moment before the event began.
Thanks to everyone who attended! I'm sorry we all didn't get to talk more :-( (do we have a week???)

Pam's Picture Gallery
The pictures are all in there. If you get an "x" or a broken picture, right click and choose View Image. If that doesn't work, try again or later. The server has been having a few problems, but honestly, the pix are there.
The tapes of our reports have arrived at Mel's for typing.
The reports on our message board have been archived (this should be the best documented Leaper/Scott fan event in history thus far!)
