In today's L.A. paper, The Daily News, Scott is quoted in the Celebrities
column written by Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith.  
This is the article:

Bakula adds that he and his girlfriend, Chelsea Field, by whom he has an
8-month-old son, read the gossip item linking him with Richardson---and
laughed.  He also says he showed it to his 12-year-old daughter, "and she
said, 'What is this?'  knowing it was ridiculous.  That was good.  Now I
don't have to explain to her what those rag sheets do; she can see for
herself.  What appalled me was that it was picked up by some legitimate
press."

So, what's really happening with Scott---besides his forthcoming CBS
series, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith"?  Are he and Chelsea going to become a Mr.
and Mrs.?  He says, "No, I don't think so... We're taking everything one
day at a time."
