From: Deborah_Enos@cc.wdi.disney.com Pam, Found the article, it was in the Hollywood Reporter Animation Special Issue, dated January 23, 1996. It was under BEHIND THE SCENES article, there were quotes from stars who are currently in production on animated movies. Scott's (along with others) were located along the right hand column, not part of the story, but like asides. the quote included a small B/W headshot photo and a smaller drawing of the "cat" Scott is doing the voice for. The article is as the following: (sorry no way to send the picture) Scott Bakula Voice of Danny, "Cats Don't Dance" (Turner Pictures) "I play Danny the song-and-dance cat from Kansas. He comes to Hollywood in the 30's to make it big in musicals, only to find out that cats and all the other animals are only allowed to be animals in the movies. He's devastated by that, and makes it his mission to reinvigorate all the animals and get their hopes and dreams alive again. I had to practice meowing. I ended up doing a couple of meows like Jimmy Stewart and a couple like John Wayne. Almost always, I'm by myself. They give me a little cat suit to wear, a little kitty litter box, and some fur balls and I chew on those. No - just kidding! "You do things 20, 30 different ways and then you leave it in their hands and you go away for four or six months. I've been on this almost two years. It's wild. You come back and say, Gee, can I match the cat voice I did four months ago?"
