ATLANTA, Ga. (April 9, 1998) - MindSpring Enterprises, Inc. today announced
the resignation of Alan Taetle, Executive Vice President - Sales and
Marketing. Taetle will become a principal in Atlanta-based venture capital
firm Noro-Moseley Partners. His resignation will be effective April 13, 1998.

MindSpring has named Lance Weatherby as their new Executive Vice President
- Sales and Marketing. Weatherby has been with MindSpring since September
1995, first as Market Development Manager and then as Vice President -
Business Development. Prior to joining MindSpring, Weatherby held a variety
of sales, sales management, and marketing positions for Mobil Chemical
Company. He holds a BBA in Marketing from Eastern Kentucky University and
an MBA from Indiana University.
