MINDSPRING ENTERS MARKETING AGREEMENT WITH INTERPLAY OEM, INC.
ATLANTA (May 26, 1998) - MindSpring Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq: MSPG) today announced a marketing agreement with Interplay OEM, Inc., a wholly owned
subsidiary of Interplay Productions. Under terms of the agreement, Interplay Productions will include MindSpring's Internet start-up software on select gaming titles and MindSpring will pay a bounty for each subscriber it captures through the channel. "Interplay has a tremendous reputation, both among consumers and in the
industry," said Melanie Bauzenberger, national business development manager for MindSpring. "We are excited to have the opportunity to market our award-winning Internet access services to Interplay's customers."
MindSpring's software initially will be included on the Interplay titles: "Of Light and Darkness," and "VR Sports Powerboat Racing".
