YOSEMITE MILES AND MEALS

SAT aug. 30 (4 miles)	SUN aug. 31 ( 6 miles)	MON Sept. 1 (8 miles)	TUES sept. 2 (8 miles)
Call before 10am to say we’ll be late for permits Drive to Yosemite... reserve Tuolmne site for Sept. 7? Cathedral Lakes Trailhead. 4 miles up =8000 to 9500, starting by 1pm camp at Upper lake.	6 miles To SunriseLake (rolling to 9000) not the highcamp, the lakes past on right trail.	Clouds Rest trail decend to floor, 20 min later last water. 25 min later bear right. At large white pine 20 min past small saddle fork left if bad conditions. Sunrise Creek (8000) camp on far-side of creek away from trail.	Half Dome Up cables 2 miles, Then down again, then 1.5 to Little Yosemite Vally, then left 2 miles to Moraine Dome campground. (7000).

WED sept. 3 (8-9 miles)	THURS sept. 4 (6 or 9)	FRI sept. 6 (6 or 9 miles)	SAT sept. 7 (10 or 6 miles)	SUN sept. 8
Lower Merced trail (rolling/level) around past Merced Lake to camp. (7000)	Up scenic, quieter, less-steep Lewis Creek trail ..detour to glacial Bernice lake? Could camp there. OR To Vogelsang lake (10500) NE shore has nice campsites.	Fm Bernice, up 3 pass Voglsng, down 2.2 to Emeric Lk (9000), cross inlet to cmp above NW shore. OR -From Vglsng, to Emeric for lunch, then up 2.9 and camp at RaffertyCreek.	FM Emeric, go 2.9 and down along Rafferty toTuolomne. OR Fm Rafferty just go down. Shower if at Tuolumne before 3:30. Ha! Camp at Tuolomne? ...Or wherever.	Maybe drive to ElCap in the morning, but leave by noon to drive 12 hours back to Phoenix.
