“Sonic Triptych III” is a sound event for multiple, random sets of 3 performers situated in a triptych - left, center, right - and interwoven like a round. Performers are instructed to represent themselves through sound-producing actions of their choice as a means of facilitating participatory and collaborative action. Previous versions of Sonic Triptych were presented at Illuminated Corridor (2006) and Ladyfest Bay Area (2002).
