Chatterbox confirms that rumors of its death are greatly appreciated.

The Chatterboxers are still alive, well, and although we've decided to call it quits as a group, many of us are still pursuing other musical aspirations:

Erin enjoys working as an elementary school para and has joined Merrilee in the dusty, leatherbound realm of higher education. She'll attend UCD to earn a masters in elementary education. Merrilee has gone back to school and reports that she is earning straight A's. While without a singing outlet, she is maintaining a tenuous, desperate grip on sanity. A cappella groups needing a stylish alto and sunny disposition should contact her before she utterly loses it. Nate, unable to break the stranglehold of catnip addiction, stays busy working as a business analyst for one of the country's biggest pet supply distributors. Dave continues to review a cappella albums as Senior Editor for the Recorded A Cappella Review Board. Matt and Adam each had aspirations of other musical projects--Matt bought himself a bass guitar and amp and thought about doing some songwriting, and Adam was briefly looking to start another group. But the both thought the better of these ideas, and turned to home improvement projects and helping their wives, as each are expecting their first kids in the fall of '06.

We invite you to peruse our posthumous performances. Just before disbanding, we recorded "Boxed Out," an 'album' of our arrangements. Twelve songs are available for free download, just click on Music, to the right.

We take pride in our arranging so we've created a nifty iPod playlist for you if you'd like to hear the original songs that inspired our arrangements, performance, and recordings over the past two years.

Thanks for your support and adieu,

Erin, Merrilee, Nate, Dave, Matt, and Adam
