what's in the 'box?
Chatterbox has called it quits. However, Chatterbox recorded "Boxed Out," an 'album' of our arrangements, as our last official act as a group. That music is now available below for your enjoyment.
Chatterbox performed its own arrangements of unique rock and pop songs that featured quirky lyrics, vocal percussion, strong bass lines, and a unique vocal band style.
With four men and two women, and a huge vocal range, the group had the flexibility to perform a wide variety of music. From Allison Krauss to Cake, to The Cars, Chatterbox had a fresh sound, a unique format, and exciting performances for audiences.
Unusual for a band its size, Chatterbox had no lead singer; everyone soloed, everyone sang backup, everyone arranged music, and three different members routinely performed vocal percussion.

As you listen to our recordings, please keep in mind that we recorded all but one track in one day using rented equipment on a shoestring budget and really just for our own nostaglic purposes.
