Allan is a 1997 graduate of theLegal Nurse Consultant Program at the National Center for Paralegal Training, Atlanta, Georgia. He finished with a 4.0 average and awarded with honors. He attended Far Eastern University, Institute of Nursing, Manila, Philippines, for his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He continued his studies in Nova Scotia, Canada, at the Victoria General Hospital, School of Nursing and graduated in 1990.
Allan has seven years of clinical experience as a Registered Professional Nurse. His specialties in the clinical setting include: medical/surgical, cardiovascular/telemetry, intermediate care, rehabilitation nursing and continuous quality insurance (CQI). He has a nursing home supervisory experience and worked in several states as travelling nurse.
With his education, clinical experience and expertise, Allan's ability to provide service and support for attorneys involved in medical-legal issues is unparalleled. Review medical records or other medical information for issues that have an impact on legal matter.
Organize and analyze medical records and determine missing medical records.

Research the literature regarding medical issues, preparing informative reports of issues researched as well as provide copies of pertinent literature found.

Provide support in medical depositions as well as preparing questions for the same.
Identify and obtain appropriate medical experts, aids in preparing demonstrative evidence and exhibits for depositions and trials.
Review medical files and provide informed support in worker's compensation issues.
Assist in developing settlement packages in regard to medical issues.
Investigate issues and prepare reports regarding potential fraud related to health care providers.
Review medical bills, investigate fraud and abuse of government funded agencies, provide life care planning and risk management support.
A Legal Nurse Consultant is a registered nurse who has knowledge, experience and expertise in the medical issues and legal cases. The primary purpose of the profession is to provide attorneys a highly specialized skills in a litigation process. A LNC is an active participant in both plaintiff and defense cases.
As a professional, nursing and ABA ethics are given full attention in order to preserve and promote confidentiality in client communications.
