We import these transmissions directly from England. We have had some of these units over the years, but the supply has become very spotty, and the quality very poor. We purchase these units in used, unknown condition from a reputable transmission specialist on Canvey Island just East of downtown London.
When the transmissions arrive in our facility, we completely inspect each unit to make sure all major components are present, then we completely disassemble each unit. All major components are thoroughly inspected, and replaced as needed with good used parts or with new ones.
When you order a "tested,good-used transmission" you get a guarrantee that the transmission is in good working order and has been tested on our dynamic transmission tester. "Good used" means all components are in good working order and any part replaced was replaced with a used part.
When you order a "rebuilt" transmission, you receive a transmission with all bearings, seals, gaskets, layshaft,speedo drive gear,and synch rings new. All gears are carefully inspected, and any suspect ones replaced with either perfect used ones or new ones.
Each transmission is tested on our custom, dynamic test unit by the technician checking for correct operation and smoothness of shifting.
