I ended 2004 with a typical zany Christmas with my family in NY...

My niece/cousin Karina really likes her cats, and has fun w/my sister

Tyler is a very focused X-box player. And my Uncle is no slouch in the kitchen

Left: Kris wrapped my apartment door to greet me back to Tucson after Christmas :-) It was so festive I left it that way until the landlady urged me to un-decorate in April. I just really liked it that way better.

Right: Yes, we get snow in, or near, Tucson. I went up the nearest mountain with my friend Paul to visit it, and we made a mini-snowman, brought it back to 85-degree Tucson in my trunk, and left it on Kris's doorstep. It lasted a few hours.

For Kris's birthday party in January, he chose a broad theme: SHINY. So shiny we got. (his rhinestone collar and mirror-toed boots may not stand out in the picture, but oh, they were plenty).

Left: Cyd's an awsome friend, the inspiration for the Shiny theme, provider of disco ball, and fully in the spirit of things.

Right: Other guests (named Richard) needed some help getting in the shiny spirit. We provided Aluminum Foil and blue sparkle eye-makup for those in such need.

Kris's roommate Dave needed no such help. He needed a different kind of help

Left: Um... My old roommate and Kris's roommate.
Right: Festive Foil usage abounded in the backyard

Left: This is the official Happy group. Officially.
Right: And we're funky from any angle
