Here are two pictures of my Magnetic Levitation device, the scale is
in mm.
In this close-up, the two shiny slugs above and below the floating magnet
are cast bismuth. The floating magnet itself is
a strong Nd Fe B magnet (neodimium-iron-boron).
In this larger view , the two large solid cylinders at the top
are strong Ne Fe B magnets.
Here is a picture of my ceramic Dragonfly. It's about 32" long, made
in 3 sections. With stainless steel wings and legs.
