Geller's WWW page....

Please, all you good folks on the Hot line....

Every day, I receive 3 or 4 notices about the Geller WWW page and the
million-dollar offer he's making for anyone who can bend a spoon via
the Internet. Now, I once said that there were things so silly that
I'd not waste time spinning my wheels over them. That includes Santa
Claus sightings and The Flying Dutchman. And such things as this
nutty offer. Yes, Geller has gotten lots of attention for it. But if
I painted myself green and walked naked in Trafalgar Square, I'd get
attention, too. And just about the same amount and quality of
attention. Oh, there will be a certain number of brain-deads out
there who will spend the $4 (or is it now $4.50?) to gawk at the spoon
and sweat a bit trying to win the prize (you trust Uri, don't you?)
and he'll get a couple of weeks of fame out of it. But flashes of
blurb don't resurrect a faded career.

Now, if you want to see something even sillier, look at my page. (If
this item is not up there now, it will be soon.) I'm offering $2
million to anyone who can straighten a bent spoon I have in a shoe-box
under my bed. This spoon was bent psychically (that is to say, when
no one was looking) and as soon as I see that it's been straightened
out, I'll immediately get on line and ask who did it. And I'll send
that person the $2 million. (You trust me, don't you?) Oh yes, I
forgot to mention that my spoon can be adored for free. No

I'm not any more worried than Geller is, about losing the money....

But please don't waste my time and attention by notifying me about
anything Geller is doing -- or not doing. I'm well in touch with the
situation, believe me. There's been a defector....
