Our adventures make it to Nefrdri without too much trouble from the portals opening up all over the world. Chase's new squire, Eli, is adjusting well to the group as is the other new party member, Jonus. Jonus came to the group via Beldar. He is the cousin to the sister of an uncle who is related to a man who was adopted by a brother who's mother is the cousin of an aunt who is a cousin's of Beldar's (twice removed). He is from the deep, deep south and talks kinda funny. He is very skilled with slings.
While in Hefrdri, Rafiki does some research on the outer planes of existence. It seems his father's last mission took him to the Outlands and some of the other planes. Rafiki intends to be well informed.
The other party members check the local magic shops to resupply. When not at the magic shops, they are getting drunk in the bars.
Rafiki orders a cloak of flying to which he needs to return for in 6-12 months.
Vissil was very much interested in 2 things. First, getting some kick butt armor and second recharging Bubba. He found some armor but he was a little to big for it. IN order to recharge Bubba he would have to fast for several weeks. All this prompted Kira to say "Maybe after you fast, you'll fit into that armor." Hence, the quote of the night.
(Mink would like a magic bowstring - or a whole bow if they come as a set. Chase would like a magic lance. A large elf in a sleigh might arrive soon too.)
The group headed out to Sagina a couple of days later.
On the way to Sagina, a portal opened to a plane of chaos and out popped a Slaad (no relation to Dove, well at least he never said he was). This might Slaad, popped out and string his bow onehanded using the ground and nailed Faegan. Not wanting to be one-uped by a toad, Vistril attempted to string his bow the same way. The party was subjected to rather potent cursing. Chase managed to lance the thing, but he had no affect on it. Faegan, Kira, Vissil and Chase went toe-to-toe with it while Vistril used Chase as a pin cushion. Rafiki's Magic Missiles didn't penetrate the Slaad charming personality. The slaad took heavy damage from the up front guys and disappeared never to be seen again.

Arrive in Sagina.
the group stopped outside of town to inquire about the finer establishments in town. They learned about the Silver Stallion and head there to get rooms. Sagina is a trading town, especially for horses and cattle. After getting 6 rooms at the inn, they learn that no one at the inn recognizes Rafiki's father. So they head to the war horse Inn based on Vistril's conversations with the old men in town. Here they learn that Kelevan comes to the war horse to have a drink every once in awhile. HE comes there with a very tall man (elf?). He is using his real name and he lives at old man Smit's house NW of town.
Vistril goes to the local cheese shop to find out information from the elf that runs the shop. In talking to him, he realizes he is not really an elf. Vissil goes back to the cheese shop with Vistril and does true seeing. The man is not an elf. He is tall and skinny and human or 1/2 human. He is Chaotic Neutral. People say the Sharpie (that's the guy's name) has been here for 50 years but recently he seems different to the locals.
Rafiki makes Vistril invisible and he heads out to Smit's place to look around at night. He finds two barns, one of which contains horses. the other is very large with very large doors and contains something growling at him. He then looks in the windows of the house and doesn't see much. He then climbs the outside and looks in an upstairs window. He sees what appears to be Kelevan sleeping. One his way out, he notices a lot of cattle around.
The next day, the group learns that Smit's place buys a lot of cattle but never sells any.
The group heads to Smit's place. Vistril talks to the workers and they say the master never sees anyone. They go to the house anyway and knock. They are told to go away. Rafiki says he has a note for Kelevan. They are told more strongly to go away and the door is closed. When Rafiki sticks his foot in the door, the muscle shows up from behind the door to easily convince Rafiki to remove his foot.
With no luck getting (in), they head to the barn where Vistril talks to the horses. He learns that in the large barn are more than one LARGE dog and more than 1 LARGE human types. Everyone heads back to town.
Editor's note: When asked what they thought LARGE human types meant, Vistril replied:
"Large is a nice way of saying Drought and Famine resistant, or, Fat...
We were Expecting Dom DeLouise to come out of the barn."
