The above images are two sides of the same motif. This is the celtic pattern from Rosemary Peel's new book, Tatting For Pleasure. It was made by Sherry Graham with DMC size 5 blue and gold threads. The pair below are also from Rosemary Peel's book. She calls this the applique flower motif. The one on the left is the first one that Sherry made and is a little sloppy. The one on the right turned out much better. These were also made with DMC size 5 threads, except for the gold on the piece to the left. This gold thread is Rainbow Gallery's Cresta d'Oro. These images are not at all to scale. The motif above is about 2 1/2" and the ones below are about 4".
