The
snowflake on the left was created for another exchange on the tatting email
list. It was made with Manuela bright white size 20 thread and Mill
Hill irridiscent seed beeds. The pattern, "Elegant Snowflake",
is in Veda Sunderman's book, Tatted Snowflakes. It was made
by Sherry Graham and sent to Barbara who in turn sent Sherry the snowflake
below.
The
snowflake on the right was made by Barbara Carruthers of NH. It is
made with white thread wrapped with variagated filament. The snowflake
sparkles more than this scan can show. The variegated filament give
touches of red, blue, and yellow sparkle to the snowflake. This snowflake
is motif #6 in Festive Tatting.
