Les Paul Mods
-
Jimmy Page #2 Wiring
$395 (four push/pull pots for coil splittings each humbucker pickup, one phase switch, one series/parallel
switch) Makes your Les Paul into a Hamer of the Gods! Pickups must have 4-conductor wiring (pickups not included).
- Gibson '50s Wiring $60
Rewires your volume and tone controls to how Gibson did for their electric guitars in the 1950s (including the legendary
'59 Les Paul), which is considered by many to be their best design. Your pickups will have more intensity and presence
and retain more treble when the volume is rolled back.
- Independent Volume Controls $40 (for two humbucker,
two volume control guitars) Corrects the stock design from where each volume control acts as a master volume to indepedent
controls which allow you to blend both pickup's output when pickup selector in the middle position. The middle pickup
position will most likely become your main choice as it has the same cut through quality as the bridge pickup alone but with
a heavier bottom end from the neck pickup.
-
Combo '50s Wiring & Indepedent Volume Controls $80 This is the best bang for your buck
to make your Les Paul more potent and versatile.
-
Treble Bleed Mod $40 per pot.
-
Upgrade Wiring Assembly $80 and up (wiring assembly not included).
-
Phase Switch $50 (for
two pickup guitars).
-
Series / parallel switching
$50 (for two pickup guitars or pickups with 4-conductor wiring).
Coil
Splitting $80 per pickup (one push/pull pot or mini toggle switch, pickup must have 4-conductor wiring, pickup not
included).
Kill Switch $40 Grounds
your guitar's signal so there's no output. Gives you the ability to use a stutter effect by flicking the switch repeatedly
or turns your guitar off when you want it to be silent like between sets.
Fender Passing Lane Mod / Direct Through Mod $80 Flip
the switch and roar! Bypasses the volume & pot controls to directly connect your bridge pickup to the output jack for
full output (One push/pull pot or mini toggle switch).

Stratocaster Mods
- Pickup Reconfiguration $40 A really useful mod which changes the
order of the pickups so you have the coveted "tele-like" bridge and neck pickup combination as one of your pickup choices.
- David Gilmour Switch / Seven Sound
Strat $80 Just like the mini pickup toggle switch on David's black Stratocaster purchased from Manny's. This
is one of the most popular and potent Strat mods which addresses one of the major Strat design deficiencies. The switch turns
the neck pickup on/off independent of the 5-way pickup selector switch, which adds two pickup combinations to the existing
five (adds the coveted "tele-like" bridge and neck pickup combo and all three pickups on at the same time). Opens up
more tonal possibilities from your Strat. Mod also available with push pull pot to retain the stock look.
- Jeff Beck / Yngwie Malmsteen Bridge Pickup Custom Tone Control $50
Addresses the issue of how most Stratocasters don't have a tone control for the bridge pickup. The mod has your Strat's tone
controls wired like Jeff's and Yngwie's where the first tone control is for the neck pickup and the second
tone control is for both the middle and bridge pickups. A very effective mod which gives you more control
over your pickups' tone.
- Eric Johnson / Jimmie Vaughan Custom Tone Control $50 Have your Strat's
tone controls wired like Eric's and Jimmie's when the first tone control is for the neck pickup and the second is for the
bridge for greater tone control.
- Master Tone Mod $40 Like "Super Strats", there's one tone pot
for all pickups to simply the controls layout, reduce the load on your signal and have less treble roll off. It also frees
up the second tone control for other mods.
- TBX Tone Control $80 Adds tonal options with its high and
low pass filters to go beyond what the stock tone control offers. Can be wired in place of any normal tone control
for any pickup, as well as a master tone control for all pickups.
- Jazz Switch Mod $80 This mod is based
on the Fender Telecaster wiring from the early ’50s and offers a lot of utility. If you want to throw in some cool jazz
lines without messing with your Strat’s tone knobs then this mod is for you. It works with the stock 5-way switch so
you keep all the pickup combinations yet you get different, new tones because the mod works with all pickup combinations for
those cool, mellow jazz flavors. The Jazz Switch Mod broadens your tonal horizons by allowing you to easily throw in
cool jazz riffs with the flick of a switch.
- Gibson '50s Wiring $60 Adapted
for the stratocaster, rewires your volume and tone controls to how Gibson did for their electric guitars in the 1950s,
which is considered by many to be their best design. Your pickups will have more intensity and clarity and retain more
treble when the volume is rolled back.
- Treble Bleed Mod $40 per pot.
- Upgrade Wiring Assembly $80 and up (wiring assembly not included).
- Phase Switch $50 (for guitars with at least two pickups or pickups with 4-conductor wiring).
- Series
/ parallel switching $50 (for two pickup guitars or pickups with 4-conductor wiring)
- Coil Splitting $80 per pickup (one push/pull pot, pickup must have
4-conductor wiring, pickup not included).
- Kill Switch $40 Grounds your guitar's signal so there's no output.
Gives you the ability to use a stutter effect by flicking the switch repeatedly or turns your guitar off when you want it
to be silent like between sets.
- Fender Passing Lane Mod / Direct Through Mod $80 Flip
the switch and roar! Bypasses the volume & pot controls to directly connect your bridge pickup to the output jack for
full output (one push/pull pot or mini toggle switch).

Telecaster Mods
- 4-Way Switch $100 One of the best Telecaster mods as it keeps the stock appearance but you
get a potent and useful 4th sound from the bridge and neck pickups in series for a thicker, beefy tone with higher output.
- Fender Broadcaster Wiring $140 Have your Tele faithfully rewired to 1950/51 Broadcaster
specifications as Leo did by borrowing the circuit from his early lap-steel guitars. This is a really cool set up to give
you the bridge pickup with blend option engaged to allow the neck pickup to be added with no tone control, pure neck pickup
and neck pickup with a tone cap engaged for a dark and bassy organ tone. A true vintage set up for that original
Broadcaster sound!
- 1953 Telecaster Wiring
$120 This one is really special as your Telecaster is wired to true vintage specifications. Some notable players
of the '53 include Jimmy Page, Roy Buchanan and Vince Gill (and anyone else who's lucky enough to have one). With the pickup
selector in the front position it delivers a very warm, chunky and jazzy sound of a fixed tone from the neck pickup, the
middle position produces a more rocking rhythm color with the tone control engaged with the neck
pickup and the rear position for the crystalline twang of the bridge pickup.
- Bill Lawrence 5-Way Switch $100 Designed
by the pickup guru himself, gives you two additional sounds with the bridge and neck pickups in parallel but out of
phase and with a low pass filter so more low-end is retained from phase cancellation for a warmer out of phase tone and
the neck pickup with a high pass/bass roll-off filter for the sweetest "woman" tone with low-end warmth and high-end
sparkle for one of the best Telecaster sounds.
- TBX
Tone Control $80 Adds tonal options with its high and low pass filters to go beyond what the stock
tone control offers. Can be wired in place of any normal tone control for any pickup, as well as a master tone control
for all pickups.
