Congratulations to Ron and Barb Gemmell! And thank you for inviting us to share in your 50th Anniversary celebration. Join us as we launch the young couple into their next 50 years at Union Hill Community Center on Saturday, February 20th at 2:00 pm. Spring Workshop - Unicoi

It’s time to make your plans for the Atlanta Branch Spring Workshop on March 12 – 14, 2010, at Unicoi State Park and Lodge in Helen, Georgia. Our teachers are Jeff Corrigan from Williamsburg, Virginia, and James Kutzner from Melbourne, Florida. Both teachers will be sharing their dancing expertise and will be sure to provide a weekend full of learning experiences. Our musicians are Nicholas Williams and Mara Shea who played for us in 2008. Many of those who attended the Saturday Ball will remember the many encores they were asked to play that evening and how much everyone enjoyed their toe-tapping performances. We are looking forward to once again dancing to their enthusiastic playing. More information is available from our Workshop brochure that provides all the essential details including the dance programs for both the Friday and Saturday dances. The early bird discount deadline for the workshop is February 1, 2010. You will also see a link for the Unicoi reservation form which has a cut-off date of February 12, 2010, in order to receive the group room rate of $87 per night for double occupancy rooms.
