Ode to a page that never really was
More years ago than I'd like to admit, I announced a plan to try to compile a list of recycling sites in Metro Atlanta. While my basic sloth kept that page from happening, someone has gone out and done a more thorough job than I could ever hope to do.
Earth911, funded by a consortium of big corporate types, has a nationwide database of recycling sites. The link is to the Georgia page; you can search from there by ZIP code in the top left corner of the page.
I'll leave this page up, because it's still the top Google hit for [atlanta recycling], so I hope it'll be useful in redirecting folks. But it's been shifted to the archived portion of the site, and won't be updated.
Thanks to everyone for the submissions over the years. It's my own fault that nothing ever came of this page, but eventually someone with more resources caught up with my long-ago best intentions.
