165. Palmer Drennen4 Willcutt (Wils (Joel Wilson)3, Eliza2, Lewis1) was born in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama 19 February 1912.(1) Palmer died 30 April 1960 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.(2) He was buried in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, Oregonia Cemetery.(3)

He married twice. He married Naomi Broughton 17 October 1934 in Arkansas.(4) Naomi was born in Arkansas. Naomi was the daughter of Edgar Broughton and Ozella Courington. Palmer and Naomi were divorced in 1942.(11)

Palmer married Frances Lee Simpson 31 July 1947 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama.(5) Frances was born in Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi 22 March 1919.(6) She brought a son to the marriage, Laurence Earnest (Larry) Pare. Frances was the daughter of James E. Simpson and Calie Brannon Jenkins. Frances died 25 July 1965 in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.(7) She was buried 28 July 1965 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, Oregonia Cemetery.(8)

Frances' marriage record lists her occupation as a dental helper.(10) The record of P.D.'s marriage to Frances Simpson lists his occupation as farming.(12) At the time of his death, Palmer was a deputy with the Tuscaloosa County, Alabama sheriff's department.
