9. Elijah W.² Willcutt (Lewis¹)⁽¹⁰²⁵⁾ was born in Alabama 9 May 1843.⁽¹⁰²⁶⁾ Elijah died 2 May 1917 at 73 years of age.⁽¹⁰²⁷⁾ His body was interred in Gibson Hill Cemetery, Fayette County, Al.

He married Amanda Williams in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 26 February 1871. Amanda was born 25 September 1849.⁽¹⁰²⁸⁾ Amanda died 8 December 1915 at 66 years of age.⁽¹⁰²⁹⁾ Her body was interred in Gibson Hill Cemetery, Fayette County, Al.

Elijah W. Willcutt and Amanda Williams had the following children:

• 29 i. Mary³ Willcutt was born 11 June 1870. Mary died 12 November 1872 at 2 years of age. Her body was interred in Sandtown Cemetery, Tuscaloosa County, Al.

• 30 ii. Martha Willcutt was born in Alabama 8 February 1872. Martha died 7 March 1934 at 62 years of age. She married Alfred Uptain in Fayette Co., Al At Or Near The Co. Line, 1 May 1890. Alfred was born in Alabama JUL 1865. Alfred died 23 March 1947. His body was interred in Gibson Hill Cemetery, Fayette County, Al. (See Alfred Uptain for the continuation of this line.)

• 31 iii. Sallie Willcutt was born JAN 1874. Sallie died 24 June 1946. Her body was interred in Union Grove Cemetery, Fayette County, Al. She married Tom Wallace. He was the son of Mr. Wallace and Mrs. Wallace. Tom died 24 June 1946.⁽¹⁰³⁰⁾

• 32 iv. Mary Susa Willcutt was born 10 December 1875.⁽¹⁰³¹⁾ Mary died 12 March 1926 at 50 years of age.⁽¹⁰³²⁾ Her body was interred in Gibson Hill Cemetery, Fayette County, Al. She married John Wallace. He is the son of Mr. Wallace and Mrs. Wallace.

• + 33 v. John Marion Willcutt was born 5 February 1877.

• 34 vi. Caldonia Willcutt was born 10 December 1879.⁽¹⁰³³⁾ Caldonia died 7 December 1947 at 67 years of age.⁽¹⁰³⁴⁾ Her body was interred in Gibson Hill Cemetery, Fayette County, Al. She married Daniel Newton Harris. Daniel was born 29 September 1877.⁽¹⁰³⁵⁾ He was the son of Mr. Harris and Mrs. Harris. Daniel died 1 December 1968 at 91 years of age.⁽¹⁰³⁶⁾ His body was interred in Gibson Hill Cemetery, Fayette County, Al.

• + 35 vii. William R. "Rile" Willcutt was born 25 November 1882.⁽¹⁰³⁷⁾

• + 36 viii. Benjamin A. Willcutt was born 22 January 1884.

• + 37 ix. Clem Willcutt was born 10 February 1886.

• + 38 x. Andy D. Willcutt was born 29 February 1888.

• 39 xi. Mary Jane Willcutt was born in Alabama 21 June 1890. Mary died 2 January 1966 in Fayette Hospital, at 75 years of age. Her body was interred in Salem Church Of Nazarene, Fayette County. She married Wesley G. Smith. Wesley was born 13 September 1885. Wesley died 12 September 1958 at 72 years of age. His body was interred in Salem Church Of Nazarene, Fayette County. (See Wesley G.
