He married Annie Elizabeth Lambert about 1883. Annie was born in Alabama OCT 1859. She was the daughter of James Lambert Jr. and Demaris (Ida Demaris) Higdon.

Charles John Wesley Frye and Annie Elizabeth Lambert had the following children:

• 5 i. John Travis⁴ Frye was born in Alabama AUG 1883.

• 6 ii. Thersia Pamilla Frye was born in Alabama NOV 1885.

• 7 iii. Nancy Cornelia Frye was born in Alabama FEB 1888.

• 8 iv. Charles Edward Frye was born in Alabama JAN 1890.

• 9 v. Mattie Allene Frye was born in Alabama 23 December 1891. Mattie died 8 January 1988 at 96 years of age. She married Allen (William A.) Sawyer in Monroe County, Alabama, 27 December 1911. Allen was born in Alabama 17 December 1891. He was the son of John A. Sawyer and Laura Simpson. Allen died NOV 1976. (See Allen (William A.) Sawyer for the continuation of this line.)

• 10 vi. James Arthur Frye was born in Alabama FEB 1894.

• 11 vii. William Henry Frye was born in Alabama APR 1896.

• 12 viii. Ida Demarius Frye was born in Alabama MAR 1899.

• 13 ix. Infant-Son Frye was born AFT 1900. Infant-Son died AFT 1900. His body was interred in Monroe County, Alabama.
