2. Clement² Anderton (James B.¹)⁽¹⁷⁾ was born in Tuscalousa, Ala 1833.

He married twice. He married Sarah Jane Willcutt.⁽¹⁸⁾ Sarah was born CA 1832. She was the daughter of Lewis Willcutt and Rachel Amoson. He married Ellen Tidwell 5 March 1854.

Clement Anderton and Sarah Jane Willcutt had the following children:

• 3 i. Rebecca Caldonia³ Anderton⁽¹⁹⁾ was born in Tuscaloosa, Ala 31 August 1859. Rebecca died May 1931 in Altanta, Texas. She married Robert T. Daniel Cox 6 September 1874. Robert was born in Fl Or Kingston, North Carolina 26 September 1853. He was the son of Roderick Cox and Elsie Nichols. Robert died 30 June 1926 in Altanta, Tx, at 72 years of age. His body was interred 30 June 1926 in Laws Cemetery, Altanta, Texas. (See Robert T. Daniel Cox for the continuation of this line.)

• 4 ii. Louise Liza Anderton⁽²⁰⁾ was born 1861.

• 5 iii. Mary Ellen Anderton⁽²¹⁾ was born 1864. She married Mr. Bowden.

• 6 iv. William Dick Anderton⁽²²⁾ was born 1868.
