1. Alsey¹ Johnson was born CA 1827.⁽⁴⁵⁷⁾

He married twice. He married Phebe Willcutt CA 1856.⁽⁴⁵⁸⁾ Phebe was born in Alabama 1836.⁽⁴⁵⁹⁾ She was the daughter of Lewis Willcutt and Rachel Amoson. He married Mary Jane Utley in Mrs. L. Harrison's, 12 April 1891.⁽⁴⁶⁰⁾ Mary was born in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama CA 1853. She was the daughter of Joel Utley and Sarah Caroline Walton.

Alsey Johnson and Phebe Willcutt had the following children:

• 2 i. Samuel P.² Johnson⁽⁴⁶¹⁾ was born in Alabama ca 1857.⁽⁴⁶²⁾ He married Martha ? BEF 1880.⁽⁴⁶³⁾ Martha was born in Alabama CA 1861.⁽⁴⁶⁴⁾

• 3 ii. Gideon Johnson⁽⁴⁶⁵⁾ was born in Alabama ca 1859.⁽⁴⁶⁶⁾

• 4 iii. William Johnson⁽⁴⁶⁷⁾ was born in Alabama CA 1863.⁽⁴⁶⁸⁾

• 5 iv. Susie Johnson⁽⁴⁶⁹⁾ was born in Alabama CA 1866.⁽⁴⁷⁰⁾

• 6 v. Elijah Johnson⁽⁴⁷¹⁾ was born CA 1866.⁽⁴⁷²⁾

• 7 vi. Rachel Johnson⁽⁴⁷³⁾ was born in Alabama CA 1870.⁽⁴⁷⁴⁾
