The Birmingham News

Family Ties appears each Sunday in the Life/Style section of The Birmingham News. The column prints requests for information about relatives for genealogy purposes and includes notices of family reunions. All requests are handled through the mail; none is taken by telephone. The Choctaw Advocate

The Choctaw Advocate publishes free genealogical queries for folks searching for their ancestors in and around Choctaw Co. The Daily Mountain Eagle (Jasper)

The Family Tree is published each Friday in The Daily Mountain Eagle. This newspaper reaches all of Walker County and portions of the adjoining counties, as well as being mailed out of state to numerous subscribers.
