Camping |
A grass field surrounding the Fireman's Pavilion provides plenty of flat spots for tent camping. Camping spots are also available across the street in the city park. |
Showers |
There is a uni-sex shower in the Pavilion where a new hot water heater was installed two years ago. The Firemen open the Fire House to rally goers where you will find two showers per gender. Consider you have maybe 400 - 500 people sharing these facilities. A hot shower is not guaranteed. |
Food |
The firemen sell fish sandwiches and soft drinks during the day as a fund raiser and there is free beer as long as it lasts (supported by donations from anyone who wants to make a donation - See Buck Bush). The rally includes evening meals on Friday and Saturday. See the Registration Information. |
Restaurants |
Wick's Restaurant just a block south of the rally site is
the place to go for breakfast. You'll find pictures from past rallies plastered all
over the walls. Rebecca's Lounge across the street from Wick's also serves breakfast. |
Grocery Store |
There is a grocery store within walking distance (about 1 mi.) north of the rally site. There you can find pickled eggs but no flying robins. Ask Mark how he knows. |
