The Cheat River Lodge properites are located six miles east of Elkins, WV in the 850,000 acre Monogahela National Forest, along a 4 mile stretch of the beautiful Cheat River. There are several rental properities available along the river but we have always stayed in the lodge pictured above.
There is a good restaurant a
stone's throw away, right on the river, with outdoor dining available. A restaurant within
walking distance, a hot tub on the deck and a tranquil setting make the Cheat River Lodge
a great place to stay after a day of Virginia and West Virginia twisties.
