To Mr. Jon'a Hanes, Please to take notice that on the second
Monday in July next I shall attend at the Court House in Nashville in the County of
Davidson and Territory of the United States South of the River Ohio then and there to take
the Depositions of John McCONNALL, Captain John CHILDERS, Joel LEWIS, Zenos BALDWIN
and others relative to the suit you as there nearest friend in behalf of the orphans of
William RIDGE deceased against myself and William COOK Esq'r and others now depending in
the Court of Equity in Salisbury District when and where you may attend if you think
proper in order to cross examine said witnesses as I mean there depositions when taken
shall be read in evidence in said suit.

Mr. Jonathan Haines- You are hereby notified that on the third
Monday & Tuesday in July August, at the Court House in the town of Nashville,
State of Tennessee, Davidson County. I shall proceed to take the deposition of James
M. LEWIS, and perhaps others, to be given in evidence in the suit now depending in
the Court of Equity for the district of Salesberry in the State of North Carolina. Wherein
Jonathan Haines as next friend to the Heirs of William RIDGE (Dec'd) is complainant and
William T. LEWIS & William COOK and others are Defendants, at which time and place you
can appear for the purpose of cross examination if you think proper

Fielder, Senior, Hannah Baldwin, and Anna McConnell were taken on 2 December 1800, at the
house of Robert Edmondson, Davidson County, Tennessee]
I shall also attend at the dwelling House of John CHILDRES
in the County of Davidson and State of Tennessee to take the depositions of
John CHILDRESS and others on the sixth of December next.

I shall also attend at the House of John FIELDER in Baldwin County in the State of Georgia on the 13th day of September next say 1808 in order to take the Depositions of Micajah L. BENGE, John FIELDER, James FIELDER and Nancy FIELDER
I shall also attend at the House of Col'o Hugh Montgomery in Campbell County in the State of Tennessee on the 15th day of September next say 1808 in order to take the Deposition of Samuel CRUTCHFIELD and perhaps others
I shall also attend at the House of Robert HOWARD in White
County in the State of Tennessee on the 8th day of September next say 1808 in
order to Take the Deposition of Wm RIDGE Jun'r, Thomas RIDGE, Mary RIDGE, Sitha
RIDGE, and perhaps others, in the suit now depending in the Court of Equity for
Rowan County in the State of North Carolina, the suit formerly in the Court of Equity for
the District of Salisbury wherein you as the next friend of the Orphans of Wm RIDGE
deceased is Plantiff and myself William COOK & others are Defendants, when and where
you may attend at cross examine said Witnesses if you see cause. I am yours &c,
